    Default Favorite Director

So, who's everybody's favorite directors? I'm rather fond of Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Hannibal, Kingdom of Heaven, American Gangster), he's very good at it. The only movie of his I consider one of my top movies is Alien, but I just love his directing style. I also rather like John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) and Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, ET)

    Hmm, to name a few:

Chris Nolan: One of the best of the past decade, and I've loved all his work.

Peter Jackson: The Lord of the Rings films are right at the top of my favorites list.

Totally agree with Steven Spielberg: Soo many films, lots of classics and a consistently good filmmaker.

Darren Aronofsky: Requiem for a Dream. The Fountain. Black Swan.
I haven't seen Pi, Below, or The Wrestler yet, but I'm planning on watching them this summer.
