Well, to "get there quicker", we need more advertisments, both by word of mouth and word of IM, lol, that means tell your friends and their friend's friends, and their friends friends friends, and so on, to join in the fun! :D

thanks to all of you, i appreciate you trying to help our community grow :) i am actually thinking of turning this forum into vBulletin, but we need more members and more activity for that, dont want to go and waste $160 for nothing you know.
Congrats to all, and heres to many more :)

That would mean we'd lose all our posts?
we will?? whyyyy? i worked hard for this 200 or something posts lol
No, he would convert the forum to a vBulletin, which means everything would remain. They make tools so you can convert from forum to forum without losing anything. Some conversions go bad, and you lose some things, but for the most part, everything remains.
oh yea, i thought i saw another topic when they converted from yab or something :P cool then :) is vbulletin better than smf?
Depends on the person :P. I admin at a forum that uses vB, but I have also used SMF, and like them both, so it is the user's opinion in the end

smf is great for free softwares vbulletin is great for paid one :) and yes i did convert from last forum software YaBB -- it wasnt a smooth conversion but i was able to keep all the posts, topics, members, private messages, and boards without any problems or losing any info. but it'll be a while before i decide to do that because for now i am happy with smf :)

Well I say go for it Linux. If vBulletin is worth all the hype, we should try it; no harm in trying, right?

yes harm in trying it costs $160 to get the license to use vBulletin lol, well the owned license, if i ever get it im going to get the owned, dont feel like paying yearly if it does work out.
