Hola! This is SOTW 54. I'm our fellow member and hoster, Yuuki. ;D

This week's theme is new Years! Since it's almost '09, I thought it'd be an appropriate theme.

Hmmm, I'm curious to know what a dragon has to do with the new years.

Well, if you think about it, Iono if this what was Linny was going for.. But yeah.
Anyway, how Linny put a Dragon in his New Year sig, it makes me think of the Chinese New Year. Dragons normally portray evil and such, but I think in the Chinese culture it's thought to bring good luck if I remember correctly.
Since Dragons are big in China, one would think. lol

that was my original intention but I couldn't find a good render of a "cleaner" dragon so i took the closest thing i had saved on my pc lol

Chinese love dragons because they believe they are the descendants of dragons

I'm not chinese but I have enough friends to never forget! lol, chinese new year is also around the corner :)
