So a little back story, since say a month ago my family's refrigerator has been crap, either being way too cold and freezing basically everything in the frig section and super freezing the freezer contents or being not cold enough and leaving milk+ pop not up to par of what it should be. Well not to long ago my dad got his income tax back and went to some local store and got a 21 cu. ft frig, well as usual I get up around 7-8 am, so I'm sitting there enjoying me some coffee and Sly Cooper for a good while and 10:30ish they come. So I'm like whores, interruption...as the gaming setup is in the path they'd need to take. So I answer the door and to what do I find... a 65ish yo that that's 5'4 and 200 and a 6 ft redneck looking bastard with several missing teeth, so I get my dogs into my moms bedroom and I'm with my momz..." Mom better have 911 ready these guys so old they die....lolz", so they are getting the frig off the truck and about to bring it in, so I find Back to the Future 2 on...I'm sweet!...then missing tooths comes in and say the frig it top heavy or some garbage and asked If it wouldn't be a problem if I came down and helped... I stupidly said yes...(a-holes to 2 interruptions of pure win entertainment)....Should have said I had aids or cancer or I was retarded and couldn't be of help but I didn't. So I help in the 15 degree coldness...nipply..ma balls headed back into ma body, I really have become a ****** towards cold :(... But I started to get kinda irritated at the fact that these workers can't do there job and how the employer should have workers that can do their jobs, so I give an extra push at the porch steps...toofess get trapped lulz...I pull back so he wouldn't suspect...he didn't get injured but was in pain...teach that mo fo what's up. So onto food for thought
Why would an employer not have employees that can do their jobs? obviously a 65 yo shouldn't be a delivery guy for a large appliance store.

wow...we have a lot of those around here too. really old guys doing heavy lifting..Promote them to desk or something - sure they may be strong but they are definitely not as strong as they were when they were 30 or 40...
employers are probably just trying to save money, wonder if they have insurance for the workers

lol dp, considering it's a local business and how they looked I wager a bet that they were getting minimum wage and pretty sure desk job doesn't exist there.

and yeah...i can see that - there is a furniture store near where I live and every once in a while, I see this really old guy living heavy armories and stuff...probably makes minimum wage too...unless they pay him in cash and a lot of businesses around here pays under the table in cash

thats the main reason, the other main reason here in NY is that we have a lot of people without legal documentation, so they can't work under taxes even if they wanted to. Kinda sad they have to be taken advantage of like that.

Speaking of taken advantage, just here last year in April a illegal ring got busted, the local mexican restaraunt has aliens work 72 hr weeks for like 2 bucks an hour to work there way to like 25k, never thought that would happen in my, it was a pretty decent sized ring IIRC, like 25 in my town and 400 in towns across little towns of Western NY and Northern Pa.
