So, I've been trying this product called Orovo and it's an appetite suppressant plus it's filled with several vitamins and such. Combined with softball conditioning and healthy eating, I've lost 10 pounds so far :]

It's been about 3 weeks and I'm totally excited. I've wanted to change my eating and exercising habits FOREVER and I have the confidence to actually do it now.

I have another 25-30 pounds that I want to shave off and I think I can do that in the next two months or so.

I felt like telling someone, lol.
ALRIGHT! C:

Anyone else have any goals they're trying to accomplish?
I'm not calling them new years resolutions because everytime I do I never fulfill them, lol.

yay for losing weight...If I work out, I gain weight (In muscles) - I used to run on my treadmill for miles a day trying to lose a few pounds but I haven't changed at all lol, so I gave up, still doesn't change my body weight - weird body I have, congrats on losing some weight and good luck on the other ones you want to shave off.

My current goal is to not die in school....i cramped up all my classes within 3 days lol, It's killing me but meh...

Congrats Ruki!
Haha I totally need to lose a few pounds, I think for my ideal weight I'd have to lose 20.

My other goal is to finish highschool within the next two years.
Oh gawd.. I am sooo behind lol but I dont want to drop out.

Thanks :]

I think my weight gain over the years was due to the birth control that I'm on.
I'm thinking about getting off it for a while, but I'm not sure yet.

Good luck with your classes! I can only imagine how stressful college is, let alone 3 full days of classes. More time for homework, eh? lol.

Congratulations ruk, keep up the good work. Losing weight can be a tough tough battle but totally worth it in the end. Just make sure you eat right (lots of vegetables - V8 can really help) and get plenty of sleep every night - without those, all the exercise in the world won't get you lean.

another 25-30 pounds

good lord women you'll be a skeleton, stop this madness at once! As for me I am at a crossroads of decisions, on 1 hand I love my coffee with way too much suger...aka 1 cup of sugar per 27 ounces on the other hand the excess sugar is causing me to gain fat in the stomach area and starting on love handles, I only weigh 165 and am about 5'8 but my stomach is visibly getting bigger and that is unattractive. decisions... decisions

lol.
I can assure you, I will definitely NOT be a stick.
I like having curves, but right now I have a bit too much :]
It's a great opportunity to change my eating habits and to make myself healthy.

I would tell you guys what I weigh, but it's embarassing, lol.

Well congrats on losing weight... I hope you reach your goal soon. :) I'm not sure if I have any goals but I suppose I could make one up. Let's see, I want to play both of my solo and ensemble pieces well; hopefully get a distinguished. Last time I did a solo was 7th grade and I'm not sure if I'm ready to play for a rating again. Our band teacher is making us though so I don't have much of a choice.

I've been overweight pretty much my whole life, so it'd be cool to do this for myself.

Wooah, how much do you pay for the ovalon stuff? I was googling the stuff and it seemed pretty pricey o:

Orovo? lol.
I picked the shipping plan so it cut the price in half.
I payed $45 and I'm going to do one more month of it, so it'll be $90 altogether.

Just depends on the person really. Weighed 250 back when, weigh 180 now. Wanna lost maybe 20 more and ill be good. Just havent gotten around to it.

It's a little sad that the world almost always seems to turn out so shallow :\ But I think people aren't attracted to a little extra bodymass because they fear it themselves. Body image is such an infuriating thing to deal with lol

Good for you for eating less junk! My brother has trouble losing weight but I keep telling him to eat less of the crap he has all the time because that's probably what's doing it.

Yeah, I've taken myself off of birth control to see if that's what's been causing my weight gain over the years. I did a little research and it's happened to a lot of women.

I've lost 15 pounds so far :]
ALRIGHT.

LemonRising
02-11-2009, 06:24 PM
Yeah I've heard that too. Usually it's not more than like, five pounds apparently, but you never know, it affects everyone differently.

I just hope I don't gain any weight when I go on it >: That would be a major bummer.

Well, I was on it for three years and I think messing with my hormones over that period of time it's caused me to gain like 10 lbs a year.

So, I'm experimenting :]

experimenting with drugs is always good...whether its birth control or ADHD drugs.
