Looks like a cool game and I'm pretty sure my computer can run it!




New York, NY February 2, 2009 - - Viva Media LLC announced today the official trailer for the city-building real time strategy game GRAND AGES: ROME.

Viva Media CEO, Carlo Voelker commented: “This stunning new trailer shows off elaborate game play, offering scene-after-scene eye candy – from city building across the empire to various forms of warfare – both on the land and at sea.” The trailer offers footage of a triumphant Roman victory parade, a Senator’s speech and more.

GRAND AGES: ROME will be released on March 10 in major retail outlets in America and Canada.

Grand Ages Rome is published in North America by Viva Media LLC.

It definitely looks pretty cool but i get the feeling it's going to be like the other roman based RTS games just with more epic looking battles haha. But it may be worth trying out :D

I got it three days ago and installed it last night. Without the tutorials, it's a little complicated. But I'll give you a little review later if you want. When I play the game a little more.

Well I played it a little bit more and well, I noticed that if the is one unit of troops attacknig you and you try to recruit troops to defend yourself, it will take forever and a lot of your buildings will be destroyed. Very annoying if you ask me. I'd have to say I'd only play this again if I needed another game to play. Plus, the fact that your buildings only affect a small radius your town means you have to buy like 4-5 of them to give your whole town the effect. It's all weird I thought it'd be a little like stronghold but I was wrong. But oh well, I'm sure if you're into these games you'll like it. I personally don't like this game very much.
