Planet Terror is being directed by Robert Rodriguez(Hostel, From Dusk Till Down).
Death Proof is directed by Quentin Tarantino.

movie looks pretty cool, rose mcgowan always looks good, even with a gun as a leg lol, i'll try to go watch it later, quentin terantino is a great director :P
