AND I bought my console in the beginning of 08, so what gives? Anyway, it's annoying as hell. Cause I have to send it in again, for the second time, this time it's RROD.

Did you call Microsoft?? did they say that you will have to pay and that they wont cover for the charges or problems?.... I got Red Rings of Death and my warrenty was up and they covered my costs but thats because I called them up and sorta made it personal thing probably felt bad

I looked it up in xbox.com and when you register your xbox it shows you whether or not your warranty is still in effect.

RROD is something that can happen to any generation 360. Even one fresh from the factory today could have the fault in a few months. Like jack said, its just not the best built console out there.

To send your xbox in for repairs online, you have to register it on xbox.com. When you do, it gives you information on you 360. One of them is the warranty.

they sent me a box with there logo on it and a special xbox case thing so it doesn get damaged more. LOL?..... they didnt do that for you? We didnt have to use a box that I would find, they sent us one heeh.

I think there was a poll many moons ago and he won. I'm insterting it into Chopper Challenge, before long all will be there and it'll be a big jackpot, seeing that the lottery feature will probably never come back

I have had it twice. PS3 is awesome with graphics and blue ray..not to mention little big planet but come on!! What's with the no chats? You can only chat if your in the same game that has voice chat or in a video chat. When they do the update for that I will throw down my xbox.

The good thing about me sending it in is usually they give you a 1 month Xbox Live gold card. I guess it makes up for the 1 month that I'm about to miss with my Xbox Live Gold Card. I still haven't sent it in, haven't found the time D:

I don't hate on my xbox even if i did just get the rrod on tuesday. It's not the best built console for sure. But it does have it's plus points, great games, the ability to talk to friends online regardless of wether or not your playing the same game.
Planning on contacting them later today to get it repaired. Still love my xbox even if this is the 3rd time it's broken

I'm not bragging or anything but I have had 11 xbox 360s. Each one with a different problem (so it's not my fault). I actually get sick of people saying things like "microsoft sucks because I've had the red ring twice". Yes Microsoft might not be able to build the most reliable console but hell everything else about it is so damn good that I wouldn't want anything else!
