well i said yesterday that people would start rioting and become stupid, internet is used for reasearch and etc. people will have to go to the library, not many like that lol.

It wont ever happen period , even if it were only a 1 month lay off it would wouldnt happen and they want 5 years in a row . The computer buisness would fall because like 80% use there computers for nothing more than internet and dl'ing music , movies , porn. Think of the massive amount of lay - off around the world in varied fields the benefits would be more than the negatives.

agreed -- companies like google and yahoo would die, microsoft will suffer a lot of damages but would still be out because of their computers and products, they have millions of workers working for them, shut off internet globe goes poor
