I've decided to upgrade my piece-o-sh*t phone for one that doesn't constantly freeze, among other problems. What phone would you suggest?

Depends on what type of phone you want. A full keyboard, touch screen, a simple flip screen.
and what phone did you have that use to freeze all the time?

I currently have the most basic LG phone available. I'm what you would call "cheap"....
As of right now, I have no concrete idea of what type of phone. That's why I'm asking you =D

If you are Verizon, and want a touch screen, Voyager is nice.
The Blackberry Storm is nice as well.
Voyager is a texting phone, very nice one at that. Storm is more of a biosness phone, whatever you're looking for.
I can't help with other retailers, let us know who your phone company is.

The SP doesn't matter. Most phones are carried by all the major ones. AT&T though.
Thanks, Juice-Tastic. I'd buy that now, but my iTouch makes another mini computer useless =P

Haha. I was going to get an iPhone instead of the iTouch, but I didn't want to have to pay the ridiculous service fees. $150 a month is not worth it =P
