I've recently gotten tired of my regular Wii, and I feel it's time to "re-decorate" it. I'd really rather not buy a HotRocks kit, but if it comes down to it, I guess I will. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with Pimpin' a Wii?

Hmmm... the only thing I've seen in my area are the stickers that cover the Wii. I probably wouldn't buy those though. If anyone else does know something, I'd be interested in finding out too. :-P

Case Modding a Wii?
I would put LEDs.
LOT of LED's.
I'm just kidding, but I think some LED's actually could look nice, I bet you could find someone on Youtube willing to help you with it, it's what I did with my DS.

Hmm. I'm wondering how to make a home-made HotRocks case. They look amazing, but they cost around 60 dollars; a price that could most likely be lowered to maybe 25 dollars.
I agree with Sam-Man, LEDs do look pretty sweet.
How exactly did you mod your DS?

I'm curious about the DS as well... Was is a Lite, or what?

As to the Wii, my experience only goes as far as stickers as well.

It's very hard to mod a Lite. He probally had a Fat, as they have much more room for manipulation.

Yea, I got a Fat.
But I'm not done with it yet, just got the basics done.
Got everything ordered and here (I have to case, the cut-out of the cshape I want, the dremel, and LEDS) and I just need to start. I need to solder leads onto the LED's and then route them to the DS Battery.
It's more work then it sounds.

The Wii would be done similarly, but I am going to check ou the HotWhatever things because I haven't heard about them.

EDIT:
Checked them out.
To make them yourself, you just need a Wii Case (eBay) and LED's (I suggest Mouser.com for cheap ones, though all LED's are pretty cheap.)
Ask someone who has done it from Youtube or something to get some tips, and then have fun with it, that is what I am doing.
Would you be able to get the Temperture thing? Lol, most likely not. A PulseV Chip would be pretty sick though, check those out. Not sure about the price of them though.

Dremling a Power Icon into the top of a Black DS Fat case, and putting red LED's under it to light it up. That's all my mod is.

Edit Edit:

Here is a cheap Black Case for the Wii for 17 bux:

And here are some Red LED's:

Simple thing, and you could find another color case, different color LED's, whatever you want.
I don't have much experience modding, atleast to the extremes, so I can only help you with somethinbg that simple.

PulseV chip? Not very familiar with it. What exactly does it do?

PulseVU, sorry.
Here is a video of it in action, I thought about it but said "Nah, it'd get annoying in a handheld"

It's kinda like the disk drive of the Wii.
