Intro-
First thing I noticed about Demigod was the Character Taunts, they're great, the Torch bearer for example uses Fire and randomly Shouts "BACON!" after burning something.
the second thing I noticed was all the **** you could buy and customize I mean yeah you can't build structures such as barracks like other RTS but you can buy so many Trinkets, Armour Buffs Summons and Army Upgrades it will rarely ever be the same Ending. which leads to the third thing I noticed which is the only thing that annoys me about this Game Your "Reinforcements" (the guys that come out of portals) basically whoever Upgrades them the quickest and gets the Giants Wins 8 out of 10 times, whoever gets the Giants first wins. I have come back and won without ever getting Giants and the other team did but it's nearly impossible and that match lasted 3 hours..

Story-
Demi god has close to no story it is a Multiplayer RTS to heart nothing more nothing less, although there is a hint of a story, basically there's a tournament for Demigod's and the winner is Chosen to be a God.

Game play-
Demigod is a video game developed by Gas Powered Games. The game is significantly influenced by the Warcraft III custom map Defense of the Ancients(DOTA). The game gives the player the ability to choose certain heroes that rely on either their own power as a single unit or the power of creating multiple units.
The first thing about demigod that you wont see in many other RTS games is the Skill tree, each Demi god has his or her set of Skills that you can Upgrade at each level. there is also Armour, Potions and your typical Army upgrades.
There are two types of demigods available to the player. The Assassin type is made to be more of an anti demigod character that fights on its own. The General type is designed to be for RTS play as it can summon units to help fight alongside the General.
There is two different Minions in this Game one being the minions coming out of a Portal that you or a teammate control, these minions you have no control over, you can upgrade the minions that come out of the Portals to stronger minions but that's it. the second minion type(which only Generals can summon) is the one's that you purchase from a shop and summon by your Side you can summon 2 of Each type for a total of 6 minions at your side that you can control.(Some Demigod's have abilities that summon more minions)
there are usually 2 things you will want to do, 1 Control the flags each flag will give you a Bonus such as 20% more EXP or gain 10% more hp per second
even take control of Structures such as shops, gold mines(more Gold per second) and even Portals so the enemy will have less reinforcements and you will have more. 2 you will want to Stick with the crowd you gain exp from being in the fight not necessarily Fighting, you just need to be near the fight.
As for Game types there's 4-
Conquest-
Conquest is the most common game type, and requires player to destroy the enemy team's Citadel before they can destroy theirs. Out of all the game types this one usually lasts the longest due the time, planning, and multiple pushes forward required just to reach the Citadel, let alone destroy it. The 30 second death penalty also contributes to the matches length.
Dominate-
Dominate is the Demigod version of Capture the Flag, with elements of King of the Hill mixed in. Dominate requires players to control flags for a certain amount of time to win. Every flag you control will add points to a meter at the top right corner of the screen. The more flags you control the faster the meter will fill. The first team to acquire 7000 points is the winner.
Slaughter-
Slaughter requires the player to kill 10 enemy Demigods before the other team. This is one of the more simple game types, as it only requires players to kill enemies, something they would be doing anyways. The Assassin demigod is the most adept at this game type, especially the Unclean Beast.
Fortress-
Fortress requires players to destroy all of the enemy team's forts on the map in order to win. The number of forts on the map depends on the number of players the map is designed to support(ex: Cataract, being a 3 Vs 3 map, would have 3 forts for each team for a grand total of 6). Demigods built around building destruction such as the Rook excel at this game type.

Graphics-
The Graphics are Very good if you have a high end PC. about as good as an RTS can get.
Music-
The music is very Epic but as far as I can tell they only have a couple songs per Map, which can get Repetitive on Conquest when your playing one match for 30 min +
And I give this Game a…
Score-8.0/10
