I've never played the first, which is now making me consider it, just because of some of the stuff I heard in this and some of the other forum chatter I'm getting about the game itself.

The graphics look compelling and the way they describe the story sounds interesting enough to pick up.

I really liked Mass Effect. It's one of the few Action RPG's that I've played through more than once.
I am certainly looking forward to Mass Effect 2.

I never finished it, I borrowed from a friend when it first came out. So I may buy it from the $20 bin at Wal-Mart! ;)
