Copying (backing up) Xbox 360 games

Everyone says it's easy and blah blah blah...but can anyone explain exactly how without having to buy anything first and stuff..

Are you talking about copying the game to your hard drive or you talking about copying the disc completely??

If you are wanting to copy it to your hard drive you just go to your game library from the dashboard and have the game inside the xbox and it will give you the option to download to hard drive. Doing this makes it easier on the disc when playing the game it won't spin as much BUT your xbox wasn't designed to not do this so your fan inside the box will constantly be going which equals hotness which equals overheating....so its up to you
