According to the FAQ sig sizes cannot exceed 300pixel H & 600pixel W but my sig won't enlarge to anything close to that.

Am I missing something? :confused1:

if its smaller than those dimensions then you have no problem - its when you exceed it that looks bad.

Not sure I understand. Why wouldn't my sig be as large as yours or others I've seen if I use the required formula?

The sig inserter automatically scales it down to the current size.

If I try remote, I'm told it's too large when clearly it is not.

I'm so confused. :confused1:

Gotta be smarter than the interwebz...

If your sig is BIGGER than 300 x 600: It should rescale, or an admin / mod will force it's change.

If your sig is SMALLER than 300 x 600: It will NOT resize at all.

So if you put in an image, like the one you have - that's 240 x 100, then it will not resize to get bigger. Because it's under the maximum size, it will remain the same.

You can't put in a tiny image and expect it to blow up.
Not only would that look like sh;t, it wouldn't even be comprehensible.

You would pixelate the crap out of it and stretch it to ungodly proportions.
It would look like a mess. It would look like Jak made you a sig. ;) -giggles-

what required formula? and if you use a remote image, it shouldn't give you a problem at all, that's when you use the image tags - if you use the "sig uploader" then it limits the size.

Formula being the the correct pixel size.

My problem though is getting the kb size down to that measly 9. ;(

upload your sig to your profile's album or something and then just link it using the image tags

go into usercp >> pictures and albums (on right side) >> then add album >> then upload pictures >> click on that picture and on the bottom you will get a little BB code

copy and paste that bb code into your signature area and save.
