Hi!!
I joined a while ago, but I only decided now to introduce myself...Why do I feel like this is so mechanical?
Well console gaming is where my passion lies, I never really play any online games. I'm warning you now. The person typing this is an Otaku, but of course that stuff does get a little boring sometimes, even for me. I play a lot of games made by Japanese companies, hence the Otaku thing.
One of my favourite developers are Square Enix, I'm always on the lookout for those guys. I'm Australian and I should be studying for my exams, but studying is overrated. Besides all those books and words can't be too good for a person.
In any case I hope you welcome me and stuff.

Oyie, ignore the meatbags of the forum. They're a bit 'special'. Mommie packed them a little bit of lead-based bread to give them that healthy balance of iron they couldn't afford from real bread. ;)
It's good to have you on the board -- just don't give out any personal information beyond a first name. You'll get phone calls soon there after and creeps like Hideki coming to your door, asking you for your used underwear or some cracked-out lunacy.
So -- as stated, you're an Otaku? And you play Japanese based, like NIS and Atlus beyond SQ Enix (who have lately been letting me down)?
What do you play?
And -- as always, Welcome.

Hey I could've told you that XD
I may be an Otaku, but I'm more into video games. My dog (who we named after a KH2 character) is living proof of that.
I mainly play Squenix crap. I'll admit their games are a little bit on the not so great side, but I'm mainly in it because the majority of male characters are very pretty and very not straight. If you ask me Squenix spends way too much time on the visual and not enough on the game play.
Ever played Infinite Undiscovery? It's pretty, but the control system is slightly complicated, oh but I'm rambling- So yeah um to answer your question, I play JRPG's like Kingdom Hearts and Pokemon. As for the other stuff, it would be like DOA2 and 4, Tomb Raider and SSBB...
I really want to get into Final Fantasy, I especially want a PSP and Crisis Core ( maybe if I get a GOOD semester report...) I would love to play more net games, but my parents won't let me download stuff.
I quote my mother "You don't need another reason to sit at the computer all day, besides you should be studying for exams!" She said that last week, she had a point, but I didn't study anyway. So there ya go! and don't worry if any of 'em did show up to my house they'd get a plastic, wireless guitar controller in the spleen.

Ever played Infinite Undiscovery?
SE didn't make that, Tri-Ace did.
