Ok, so, I'm getting an iTouch sooner than I thought.

My sister's apartment was robbed, and they stole her Mac Laptop.
When she gets her Insurance Check back, she is getting a new Mac Laptop.

Mac just happens to be having a "Buy a Mac, get an iTouch Free*" deal.
*Free is a $229 rebate.

So I was like, "I'll just get the 8 Gb and have it be free!"
Then I thought about it.
It'd be $70 for the 16 gb.

And thinking more...
It's just $170 for the 32 gb, which is originally $400.

I'm thinking I just go for the 32 Gb, since I have that much saved up anyway, and I get double what I was going for.
It's over half off anyway.


So I don't know which one to get.
The 8 gb Free one ($229)
The 16 gb $70 one ($299)
The 32 gb $170 one ($399)

And does anyone have the iTouch?
What do you think of it?

the last apple product i bought was an ipod nano for my mom a few years ago for her bday - but do you mean iPod touch? or is there a new thing out called the iTouch? sounds like porn you can eat if you ask me...lol

but i know people who has the "iTouch" and they seem to enjoy themselves - and I always say, free is better. and the 8gb one sounds like a good deal - 8gb can hold a lot of songs and i doubt you'll be listening to all of those songs anyway -

Well I still have a crappy 2g and I'm only using like half a gig maybe? so I'd just go with the 8 because it's free. But since it's just 170 dollars..... I don't know.

Honestly, it depends on how much music you have.
I don't have alot, (501 song atm, and i'm about to delete some stuf), and i've never filled up my 8gb ipod, even with the apps, and videos i have.
But, if you're one of those people who needs to discography of every musician, then go for whatever amount of gb you current have in your itunes collection.

Other than space, there's no real difference between the 8, 16, and 32 gb models.

Ok, so not just, but when compared to the 400 it is normally, I think it is.
It's not cheap, I know that.
But 170 compared to 400 is beast.

If you plan on downloading movies into it, that is where you are going to want the biggest HD you can afford. I have an iPod 30 gig Video and with my 3188 songs, 45 movies and videos plus pictures and games I filled about 27.8 gigs. To me it's worth it. Plus with the internet capabilities you will have with your machine, you'll be downloading apps and all kinds of good stuff. Bigger is better if you can afford it.

Well, I have $190 so far, so it is like, "$170 I can do when it is that much cheaper than the original thing"
And I would want some shows and movies on it, along with music.
With the Wi-Fi, and random apps I'd get that was why I was thinking 32.
But I dunno yet, I got a couple weeks to decide.

I would say it depends on how much music you'll listen to. If you're not going to use most of that space, you might as well get a smaller one. But that is a great deal (not to mention opportunity) for the 32.

It all depends on you.
How much you download, how much music/movies/tv shows you have/want.

If it were me I'd get the largest because I've already got 11gb of music, and 30 gb of movies.
