Unreal tournament 3 - titan

I finally got round to downloading the new titan pack for UT3 today. It's pretty good, though it took me a while to figure out wtf Betrayal was all about.
I have only ever played UT3 by myslef or with a family member or friend. Am i seriously missing out on online play? I haven't joined a random multiplayer game yet 'cos i don't think i'm good enough :) How good do you have to be to join a game without people screaming at you for being a noob?

lol rai seriously you should hook up to the internet and play some people online. If you just put self-consciousness behind you whilst playing then it doesn't matter if your good or bad.

Also the upsides of being online is that you can see the tactics that other real people use to play and beat each other.
