What do you prefer from music, Clean Versions or Explicit Versions of Songs?

Explicit I would have to say

i'd rather have an uncensored version of a song, but i don't listen to too much music that needs censoring, so...

I guess its just the way i was raised around certain things to make me want to have explicit music =p.
I CANT TAKE THAT CLEAN BSSSS.

Except....when the lyrics dont really change that much if its clean.

Yeah, I'll have to go with explicit. When it's edited... it just drives me crazy.

censoring a song ruins it completely
and epsilonX has a nice example of that
48 words bleeped out in that song..

Clean versions are utterly pointless. If you don't like swear words, what are the chances of you liking the song in which someone swers?
it's like not liking chocolate then ordering a chocolate chip cookie and having all the chocolate chips removed. what sorta moron would do that? the same sorta moron who listens to censored songs. ....eejits

I like my songs raw and disgusting.
Swearing intact.

No point in listening to something in a way that the artist did not intend.

oops I definitely clicked the wrong one. dyslexia ftl

Anyway, If it bleeps out parts of songs then it's annoying to listen to. All my music on my ipod is Explicit, not one song is clean.

Always the Explicit versions.

That's how the song was meant to be heard -- not some Disney-crap-Wal-Mart rendition.

Fail.

uhh, that's basically what I did? I thought the top one was explicit and the bottom was clean.

Whichever version the artist originally intended. I believe firmly in freedom of speech and expression and I believe organizations such as the F.C.C., MPAA, and ESRB should burn in hell where they belong.

i don't really like songs that swear a lot, or stuff that's overly disgusting (like just about any song from the first half of cannibal corpse's career...go look them up) but if the song is gonna swear might as well let it stay.

though i actually prefer the toned down version of stan - eminem when he played it live with elton john.

Walmart is apparently dirting up.
Me and my boi found Cannibal Corpse at walmart the other week.

YEAH.

Yeah.

I get clean ones. I don't need my friends coming over and giggling at the swears when I'm trying to enjoy music with em'.

their newer stuff isn't as over the top, but they'll never carry tomb of the mutilated or butchered at birth at walmart

explicit, I don't need the FCC or whatever organization controls the music industry telling me that bad words are a no no, this isn't isn't a commy nation and the kids have heard and most likely done similar to worse things than the music they are listening spits out.
