Fable 2 help

I just got fable 2 and when I try to start a new game, it will say its loading anew game then just start displaying all the tips in the game for hours on end without letting me actually play. Is there any way to solve this issue?

sounds like a dodgy game m8. loading time shoul be no more than 2 mins.

does it allow you to pick ur name or sex or is it straight away???
