TAMPA, Fla. — An autopsy report says cocaine contributed to the death of TV pitchman Billy Mays.

The 50-year bearded TV personality died of a heart attack in his sleep. His wife found him unresponsive June 28 at their condo in Tampa, Fla.

A release from the Hillsborough County medical examiner's office Friday said Mays had last used cocaine days before his death.

The report said that although Mays died from heart disease, cocaine use was a contributing cause of death.

talk about shockers. didn't look like a guy who could be on cocaine. always had a clean shirt on and a beard..

Hydrocodone (Vicodin), Oxycodone (painkiller), Alprazolam (Xanax), Nordiazepam (Valium), Temazepam (anti-anxiety), alcohol and Benzoylecgonine (a byproduct of cocaine).

Being boisterous isn't a tell tale sign of anything. Just because someone is happy-go-lucky and loud doesn't mean they're on drugs. I'm loud ALL the time and get yelled at about it frequently at work. Does that mean I'm a coke-head too?

Speaking of which, How could you come that conclusion djdoubt? Have you had a conversation with him irl? If not your assumptions is out of whack as Billy Mays is an actor and paid to act.

cocaine use being a contributing factor is still in debate...some reports state that it was not a factor in his death, and some stated it was...

I saw an infomercial with him just a couple days ago. I thought it was kind of weird they'd continue them. RIP.

I saw a new oxyclean commercial the other day, some lady was talking and telling us to buy it...doesn't work like Billy's voice.
