eRepublik is a MMORPG game, based on real world . It is browser based game, just like Travian except it is much better :D
It has real countries inside, and currently it is going on a massive world war. Right now, it looks very bad for USA , Canada and Spain, which are in the same alliance.

In this game you can be anything, a politician, economist, industrialist , (you can have your own company with real employees) , soldier (you defend your homeland) or a simple worker.
There is a monetary market, and all real life currency , and a marketplace where you can buy or sell (if you have a company) goods. If you are a politician, you can run your country (president), vote for laws and declare wars. You can be even one of the ministers, and help running the country.
But if nothing of this interests you, you can play until your level 6 (11 days of work and train- it takes you just 1 minute) , and after that you get 5 gold which you can donate to your country.
