I drew this Neopet on GIMP... upside-down because I'm weird. It's not that great, and the shading looks a little strange but I figured I'd post it.

nice work...almost forgot about neopets. and it looks great - it's a lot better than what I could do with pencil and paper let alone a computer software. I'm terrible at artwork, I just stick to web design for now.

I would just recommend trying to shade thinking 3d,
If you want to practice that, get references of what you're drawing (a wolf or dog will work for lupes) and look at how shadows fall on them.

That's a good idea... I'll keep that in mind if I make another sometime.
