GeForce is like a sub model. By Nvidia.

I personally like Nvidia but I've never tried a Radeon card and I don't know much about it.

In the end they both have cards that compete with each other, you just have to know how to surround it with the correct hardware to get the best out of it.

That's a really good card, pretty new compared to my 8600GT.

I have a Radeon, I've had an Nvidia before.
They run pretty even on their Pros and cons.
Of course there's some games built for Radeon and some Games Built for Nvidia.

Overall they both work quite well.

Personally I prefer Nvidia. From past experience I've had more issuews with ATI cards, and there's just something comforting about your card just doing its job .. ATIs always made every game a little edgy. I also found there were less driver problems with Nvidia too.

No games are built specifically for certain GPU's, they'd lose a lot of money. Usually you'd see gaming publishers working with either nvidia or ATI and they tend to favor one over the other.

But if there is a game that will work on only one or the other let me know, I could be learning something there.
