If one is to think of video games as an art form and in most countries it is legal to perform various forms of art, why is it that countries find the need to ban video games? Logic entirely throws out any inherent need to ban games and in this little article of mine, I shall explain such things.
As I mentioned gaming is an art. Everyone can make a video game but it takes an artist (among other things) to make a video game great. One cannot spend a few minutes inside of an engine and come out with something as valuable as gold. In fact, I'd be hard pressed to say that video games take the longest time to make in terms of other arts. I am a Poet and it takes me but a few minutes to scrawl on paper, an artist the same, and even a computer artist can make something halfway decent in a reasonable amount of time. Video games take years to craft into art and in turn that makes it worse for a country to ban such an art form.
Coupled with the fact that gaming is also a well-oiled industry it's a wonder countries do ban video games and not say, cigarettes. Cigarettes are not an art to make and are more harmful than a virtual italian plumber (Mario). It does not take a mathematician to figure out that 5 dollars for a pack of cigarettes does not compare to most video games being sold at this very moment. If I had economic trouble I would not find it foolish to bring out the gaming industry.
Ah, but the children, oh the little dumplings which are the primary if not the only cause of gaming laws and bans. To save a child you would have to kill them. The world is no place for a child right? Exactly, because the world is not an innocent bastard with a cute face and a temper tantrum to boot. If video games are so harmful for children, while it is an art, then why have kids finger painting? Do kids not draw violent scenes like in video games? Do they not fight unless taught not to? This of course lies with the parents but then you should blame them instead of scapegoating video games as the problem.
By banning art you ban individuality. Individuality is what makes us human. If we are not human then since we cannot perform arts then why should gaming be banned? Logical deduction has quite proven that to ban games is to ban the world itself and all who inhabit it. It is not only a foolish choice but a dim witted one.

Cleril isn't "holier than thou" as one might think by reading this. In fact, he doesn't believe in holy things so you might as well just assume he's an ass which, he believes he is. Now go respond to this topic with a proper judgement of Cleril, an ass.
