How can I plan a great Mass Effect 2 party for my fiancee?

My fiancee is a huge fan of Mass Effect. On January 26, I would like to decorate our apartment and have a little party (just for us) on that day to make it special for him. He doesn't know I took the day off from work, so while he's at work, I plan to decorate the apartment and bake a cake for him and completely surprise him when he walks in the door.

So far I've purchased the Mass Effect soundtrack for him (to have blaring when he walks in), I'm going to bake a cake and decorate it with frosting as the game cover, I plan on buying a bunch of space ship/outer space themed balloons to have everywhere... but then I get stuck. If anyone has any great ideas, please let me know! What would make your day as a Mass Effect fan if your significant other surprised you?

(By the way, I'm not stupid... I know the first thing he wants to do when he walks in the door is play the game and I am more than excited to watch him play it since we both like it. I just want the day to be special for him because he's waited so long for this game to come out.)

As for ideas, well I can think of a few .. cakes named after classes, or decorations themed around some of the expected settings etc. On one of the sites I run I've slowly been gathering info about the game, and if you browse some of the posts, and some of the links the posts contain you might get some inspiration from them. Sorry it's not a bit more specific, but at least it might give you an idea of the types of things most gamers (and obviously your partner) are looking forward to, making it a little easier to get inspired and translate that into a themed party of some sort.

Um...well, if you both enjoy sex....paint your whole body blue and twist your hair to make your head look like an Asari, dye it blue even.

Then well, sex. It's roleplaying, he's Commander Shepherd and your some Asari women (Liara perhaps?) he has the hots for.

That's my suggestion. Men aren't hard to figure out.

Don't do Ashley, she's not as hot as Miranda, or as interesting probably. Also, Ashley is racist against aliens, just saying.
