What are you reading now?

I know one of my other favorite hobbies other then gaming is reading a good book. So what are you reading right now?

I am re-reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and just started Michael Crichton's Pirate Latitudes. I am a big fan of the Wheel of Time and could probably start on book eight or nine but I like them all enough to start over. I am currently on the forth book in that series. Pirate Latitudes is one of Crichton's last books and I am really getting into it.

Atm, i'm reading my biology notes.
Other than that, I'm reading the Qi book of animals, Pyrates!, and ... i've forgotten the name of the other book - but it's about neurology and the mind and stuff.

I used to finsih a book every two days, but I just can't seem to be bothered reading as much anymore

Ugh.
The fighting parts are cool but its very "GOD IN YO FACE".
And Mel Odom can't write a female character to save his life.

In fact I just remember... I'm supposed to be reading "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe but I'm just gonna read it on sparknotes or wikipedia. Just like in 10th grade ^_^

I am currently reading the Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
its about a girl who is murdered by a guy who lives in her neighborhood and she watches her life play out from heaven
its really good

I'm reading The Bone Servant by Anne Rice.
Has to be the best book she's ever written. It's about a man that lived in Babylon and was murdered and cursed to be a servant of any sorcerer that got control of his bones. :D

I loved Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. I might have to check out The Bone Servant now if you say its her best book.

In my honest opinion, it's better than most of the vampire chronicles and on par with all of the best ones of that series.

Good book I remember reading it for school. I think its by William Golding maybe. We had the coolest English teacher and he had us watch the movie as well as the Simpson’s Lord of the Flies episode.

Interesting concept. My aunt already got me three out of four books from the series so I'll be reading the whole thing.

I don't mind it actually. It's not totally original but its got a lot of little neat things going.

I just finished 'Flash Forward' by Robert Sawyer. Didn't really like the ending. I think I'm going to try and read the Gears of War books, I heard good things about them.

How are those books? I have never been able to read books based off a game world. My roommate loves the Warcraft lore books but I could never seem to get into them since I am kind of a lore junkie and had already read up on the lore for Warcraft online.

Michael Crichton!!! :laugh:

He is one of my all time favorite authors and that is a great book. The movie was pretty good too.

I'm currently reading D.I.Y. books because I want to be skillful... you know, like around the house.... My dad is planning to finish the basement room and I'm reading how to hook up electrical components... stuff like that.... and NO its not a "dummies" edition book.
