Game Screen Shot Challenge

[Frank-the-Rabbit]

So back when I was part of a movie forum site we had a fun game we would play called the screen cap game. I figured we could set up one based on game screen shots. Here is how it works:

~The first person posts a screen shot of a game and then people try to guess what it is from. First person to guess correctly gets to post the next screen shot that people have to guess.

~If a screen shot is up for more then 48 hours and no one can guess it then someone can post a new screen shot.

No the rule was made so that if someone left or no one knows it then the game can go on. After 48 hour anyone can post a new one but once one is posted then the old rules apply. :-P

The name of the game came from a statement made by a guy called Richard Winters, and was also mentioned in a pretty awesome HBO tv show of his life story. Think, Band of Brothers ..

You're close, Infernal. I was going to post a much older version of the game from this series, but the name of the game is displayed on the screen during gameplay in that version so I chose this one instead. The older version I was going to post was released on the Sega Genesis. This version was released on the N64.

Both versions existed first as arcade games - one of the first RPG arcade games I saw that actually had you level up as you went (you actually got a name and password on the machine in the arcade to re-access your character!) Screen capped here is the arcade version, as you may have guessed from the "insert two coins to join game" message.

Hint: "Legends" is half of the name.
