Heavenly Sword while a solid game, has it's faults where GOW just blows past them. I really wish Sony didn't get all mad and break the 3 game deal, Kai is awesome!

Ninja Theory and Sony signed a 3 game deal. Heavenly Sword cost between 20-30 million to make and the returns were either minimal or a loss. iirc Heavenly Sword ltd ww was around 1.1 million. I'm pretty sure Sony wanted bigger returns on the investment and thus cancelled the deal. They did the same thing with the makers of Lair

wow...heavenly swords's sequels got cancelled, not god of war's

anyways, i only played a little bit of HS, but god of war is better. heavenly sword was far less frustrating though.

Yeah, the puzzles in the GOW franchise certainly can put your patience to a test

well not just the puzzles but the enemies too. i'll go be attackin them like crazy and have a sweet like button combo goin on and they just jump away. then they hit me like 10 times in a row and i can't do anything. why can the enemies escape my combos but i can't escape theirs? and some of them, like the freakin sirens and medusas, just run around and are impossible to hit

i only die because the enemies keep freaking running away whenever i try to hit them, and when i do hit them they escape my combo and another enemy gets me into a combo that i can't escape from. and the cycle just continues. its freaking retarded. it's why i stopped playing god of war 2
