Never have and I doubt I ever will in the future - since I buy most of my games online nowadays, it's not like they'll run out of copies anytime soon.

Blackleo preordered l4d2 for me even though I told him not to and when he told me he did, I thought he was kidding...but that was the only time and it wasn't even intentional

I never have to pre-order games because the thing is
I can always go to my nearby entertainment store and I get the game a week later it never runs out

I reserve things all the time... but this is probably because my brother used to work at a gamestop and it has become a ritual of sorts.

We bring pizza or order cookie cakes with the game cover on them, sometimes people who didnt even pre-order show up to hang out with us. =P

The last games I can remember pre-ordering are:

Monster Hunter 3
Mass Effect2
Dantes Inferno
FableII

And actually, I loved camping out for system releases. I camped 2 days in advance for a wii for a friend, then ended up holding another spot in line for a day. The three days waiting where passes with a tent, heating pads, a gas grill, my buddies, cards, Handheld systems, a portable DVD player and a small generator. =P

This gen really sucks for preorders, im sick of the preorder exclusives for certain stores. Any who I preordered a couple times, mostly because my town doesn't get many copies outside the preorders and I wanted my copy day 1. I once preordered GRID just for the t-shirt

I always reserve games. I don't buy a lot of games, but the ones I do buy are the awesome ones!

I rarely have the money around to preorder a game.
Usually I get games when they've gone down in price a.. lot XD;;

I never reserve games. Only game I ever reserved was MGS4 and thats because i wanted the pre-order disc.

btw, can you change the typo in your title? A LOT is 2 words, not 1.

I've never, nor will I, pre-order(ed) anything. For me it's just like what Lemon said. I kind of prefer the price to go down a bit before I buy it, or if I've got enough money I'll just nab it from the store. I can be patient when I need to be. :P

Depends on the game... if I REALLY want to make sure I get it when it comes out.. or if I think it's not going to be in demand so much... stuff like that.

I remember when San Andreas came it p'd me off cause I didn't place a preorder and for some reason they only ordered enough for preorders and no walk ins.

I only reserve the games I believe will be hard to get hold off on day one.. My most recent pre-order and purchase was Splinter Cell: Conviction Limited Collectors Edition. I've also recently pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption.. This game is going to be freakin' awesome!!!!

It depends on the game itself. If it really gets my attention and im really wanting it, it is likely I will get it on pre order. like World of Warcraft:The burning crusade, yes im a wow nerd shush!, I enjoyed it so i got the preorder in. The extras for the most part suck, just talking about how they created the game and design photos, I want like special weapons to make me go pew pew.

not much, because I wait for games to go down in price, but if i am a big fan of a series or anticipated it much, then i will get the pre-order. For example i had the heavy rain pre-order, and sims 3 pre-order and i will get fallout new vegas pre-order, and dead rising 2 pre0order
