I expected Edge of Darkness to challenge better than that. Unless Avatar loss 5 million in the actuals this will be the best 7th weekend ever, Titantic held the record with a 25.9 performance. 8th weekend record is 23. With really nothing coming out next weekend to steal theaters, I think it's quite possible that Avatar breaks the 8th weekend as well. Another thing to note is that it will break the all time record sometime this week, then after that it's only it can do is break weekend records and climb up the adjusted for inflation list. Next up on it btw is Fantasia which after inflation is factored in would account to 619 million.Fantasia did 76.4 million back in 1941
