Finally got to see this today. Man, great film all around. mixes dramatic scenes with light hearted comedy very well. Kathryn Bigelow became the first women ever to win Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directing. So those that don't know anything about the movie probably want me to tell some stuff. Without getting too spoileress(word?). The entire basis of the movie surrounds a bomb defusing squad during the Iraq war. The first squad leader dies within several minutes of the movie starting so a new one in appointed in, he a real hotshot and throughout the whole movie basically he's getting his squad into iffy situations because his cowboy attitude. That's the background, don't want to get into too much more. Still can't believe he went back. Still funny how he's giving that speech to his young kid at the end. 9/10
