press the prt scr button, then go into paint or something and paste it (ctrl+v) and save it. Then host it online somewhere, either in your profile on GF in an album or places like imageshack or photobucket and use the BB code in your post.

@ Kenoi: All you hafta do is hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard, and then open Paint (or whatever program you wanna use), and hit Paste. And that should do it :)

Hahah. My laptop is a disaster, but I'm the exact opposite with my desktop. Can't stand icons/a cluttered desktop. All my frequently used programs are either on the task bar or pinned to the start menu.

Was looking at rainmeters when I came here and saw muffins', made my post, and said "Screw it." So I've been trying to make a nice looking wallpaper, and I like it! Nice and simple but still functional lol. I used RocketDock for the dock on the right hand side.

I'll probably do more/change it or whatever but for now it's nice. I've got the background on a slideshow to switch between a few different ones that all go good with the theme, too. I've found a new obsession, thanks to seeing Muffins' and going "Whelp, now I have to, it's a sign!" :P

so here is my new layout, I deleted anything that I could access via steam to keep it clean. I literally have 90% of my 250 game collection as well as the other games on the rocket launcher. I still dont have any good gadgets. The theme is the Halo reach for the sound effects, but the background image is random.

The duel monitor setup helps playing games in windowed mode so I can multitask. Or when I want to keep an eye on my systems specs while gaming.

Glad I was able to help you make the change :P I always liked the look of people's awesome Rainmeter desktops, but I was always nervous about switching, too. But it's awesome! :3

The tea pot is for an IDE called Geany. The icons on my launcher bar are from top to bottom: Home Folder, Firefox, LibreOffice Writer, Ubuntu Software Center, Terminal, PlayOnLinux, Heroes of Newerth (IDK what happened to the image, the super awesome linux improvements update probably screwed it up), Geany and Workspaces.
