This game came out yesterday. I am kind of on the fence about this one. Has anyone gotten it? If so what did you guys think? I like the idea but I feel like it would be very hard to do this game right.

i'm very similar frank tbh .. i'm still in two minds whether to bother or not considering what else is out over the next few weeks

The older AVP games were great. I heard this one was great but some parts were frustrating. That it's amazing at first but the thrill wears off very quickly.

i'm going to get it eventually. i'll probably rent it now and buy it when it hits $20

The demo does not really do it justice. It only has deathmatch mode for multiplayer, when there are several game types you can play, and the other modes are what look most interesting.

I was a huge fan of AvP and AvP2 on the PC, Im not sure if this one will live up to the past. But if they have the adrenaline pack storyline with a marines I might want it just the same. Wielding doors shut while waves of aliens break them down was intense back i n the day.

Colonial Marines looks like it will be amazing though, with a 4 player co-op and heavily team work oriented style. That campaign will be easier to focus on since it wont be 3 different races.

hmm. its alright to me.. I played it at a friend's house and ..... he likes the multiplayer aspect of it .

The classic game on STEAM now has multiplayer but not many people are ever on it. =P

I would say rent it before you buy it. I cant safely say what you would enjoy, but this game is a close call.

It is very hard to do this game right i do own it and all i can really say about it is that it is better then the previous ones but still not perfect well worth the money though .

I was thinking about buying this game but I just don't know. The game could be amazing but I've also wasted a lot of money on games that aren't even worth playing.

I played the demo of this game on my PS3, and I have to say that I was not at all impressed.

To me, the gameplay was cheesy. The game failed to be a thriller and failed to entertain me. The deaths became predictable. You would see the alien crawl on the floor, and the same death scene would play. I found that cheesy.

I was not impressed by the gameplay, and to me, that is what I highly value in a game.
