Star Ocean Last Hope or Final Fantasy 13

I just want to settle a debate with a friend. Which is better Star Ocean LH or FF13? I'm in Love with FF13 best FF sense 7, on the other hand I played Star Ocean for 130 Hours =P.

i haven't played star ocean 4, but i hear its basically a next gen version of star ocean 3. i liked SO3.

i think SO4 would be better for gameplay, but final fantasy is more of an experience.

It is like a amped up SO3 but the Chars are also more indepth, and to be honest I hated SO3 for its corny ass ending (not spoiling it). LOVE YOUR SIG one of the best ps1 game ever

haha, no.. I think I'd pick FF13. even tho I haven't played it or star ocean last hope.
but star ocean is fun to play though.... so... I dont know, i'm 'so-so'

FF13 by far.
Star ocean was good but no way near as polished and in depth as FF13.
not to mention the Story.

I have also hear Final Fantasy 13 is bad, when one person died is over it's like a movie.
I don't think is bad, have both Star Ocean Last Hope & Final Fantasy 13 in PS3, prefer to play in PS3 since I want Japanese and english subbed.
I don't play PS3 so much so still have much to do in both Star Ocean and Final Fantasy 13.

Well, I haven't played Star Ocean yet ( except on the PSP) , but I have played FFXIII. In my opinion, I would say.... Star Ocean, unless you like how pretty FF13 is. ( I do :D )
