Moore Resigns
Peter Moore, Microsoft's (http://gaming.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=9359#) Vice President of their Interactive Entertainment Business, Entertainment and Devices Division,has resigned from his role with the company and will now be the new president of EA's sports division. Part of the decision was because Moore wanted to move back to the San Francisco Bay area to live with his family,
The former head of EA, Don Mattrick, who was originally brought on board at Microsoft as a "strategic advisor."will now step into Moore's abandoned role on July 30th.

Most recently, Moore was president and COO of SEGA of America, where he was responsible for overseeing SEGA’s video game business in North America. "We have an outstanding relationship with EA and their sports products have been incredibly successful on all our platforms. I am sure this will continue with Peter now at the helm."
