Well it is, and isnt. There are some im looking at but since i dont really have an idea in mind on what to make for the site its kinda hard to pick a certain free hosting website.

What i mean is like angelfire.com, uhh winx.com stuff like that not where i get everything you normally would by buying a domain lol

try freewht.com or freewebspace.com - they have free web hosts advertising there. But I'd be wary about free hosts because you aren't paying for it and there could come a time where they'll feel as if the site doesn't belong to you any more. Being in the hosting business for some time now, I've seen that happen too many times.

But these hosting types are a bit more advanced than your old angelfire and tripod stuff.

Ya its like i dont want to spend money for a website that im not oging to go into full force. Also if i dont have a good idea for a website on the freeone i can shut down no money involved if i buy it i got it and thats kinda money burnt.

its hard to come up with ideas.

well i currently use this one freehostia.com
the best thing bout it? you can use your own free domain like co.cc
they also have pre installed script. yehaa. so that mean , you can install any popular php script for your website like wordpress, joomla 1.5, phpbb forum, mybb forum, smf forum, and more, more and more.

it's always been my favorite recently. And you wanna see how it's look like? well check it out here, some of the sample site that I make using freehostia.com

Habbzel (http://habbzel.co.cc) and don't forget also check the forum.

I really love freehostia.com

make sure you try it.

Elan was talking about CMS (Content Management Script) - like Wordpress, Joomla, etc...

You can download them, install them on your server, and run it as a site. It's a very easy way to get started if you don't know basic coding at all. Wordpress is found on wordpress.org and joomla is on joomla.org. Our forum software is a CMS as well.

And I'd advise you to do a lot more research on this and you should download something like xampp on your computer and learn to install and run the scripts from your computer. you won't have to worry about hosting and it's a great way to practice. You'll be able to access your sites by visiting http://localhost/sitefolder - I use it to test scripts all the time. Only you can see it but it's good to practice and learn.

Good luck.
