What kind of fan are you looking for? Computer Case fan? or CPU fan?

Ah. Well what does your current one look like?
You can take a look at some of these:
Newegg.com - Rosewill RCX-Z80-AL 80mm Sleeve CPU Cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200042)
Newegg.com - EVERCOOL K801-825CA Ball CPU Cooling FanHeatsink (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835119005)
Both are pretty good - I have an older version of the Rosewill one on my server and it's been going on for almost a year now without any problems. I haven't cleaned it either...i just want to hit 365 days of uptime before turning it off to clean it up.

if its over heating get a new heatsink. But you have to have a limit on how much your willing to spend to give us a better idea :P

That's the opposite of not a lot of money.

Just for the CPU? Where do you find that?
I may get a full water cooling system for the next machine I built (for myself) - I need to keep the GPU cool more than I need the CPU cool.

Ah...wish I had to do that for my computer classes. But most of mine are programming classes. But the sale must not be there anymore on tigerdirest, couldn't find one. Saw one for $80 though.

At OP. I've got a couple boxes of parts laying around and may have what you need if you can afford shipping... What type of socket is on your motherboard?
Also check to make sure the HSF is not loose. If possible, try taking the HSF off and cleaning it and your processor with rubbing alcohol, then remounting with some new thermal paste. Even stock cooling should keep you < 60C under load.
