A self confessed Xbox fanboy has recorded the horrible ordeal of his brand new Xbox 360 over-heating. Apparently the issue arised after he was playing MW 2 for around an hour before being presented with various lines on the screen. It is claimed that the GPU and CPU over-heated and he's warning people from making the upgrade.

Xbox 360's have always had a problem with overheating.
My brother somehow keeps his on 24/7 though so...idk.
I know it's possible to keep it from dying/red ringing. Brother is a prime example.
My xboxs always red ring xD
Lol I didn't know I was helping resurect a dead thread. xD

I'd simply die if that happened to me.
If people are only playing for a hour at a time and its overheating then xbox needs to give them a new one. I have a lot of friends who play 15+ hours at a time and its understandable to overheat after that amount of time... Not an hour :C
Rachel im another example my xbox runs constantly i hardly ever turn it off maybe a few hours every other day and i havent had any issue
Says it overheated because his Wii was blocking the vents.... I've played my new one for hours on end and haven't had any problems out of it all...
It's not the console, it's people not paying attention to where the vents are and how to position it to where it can cool itself.
