Wanted your opinions on the topic of if people can truly change. Be it for themselves, someone, or something else. Curiosity peeking around the corner again. lol

I myself don't really have a stance on the subject, since I'm more or less isolated. Being secluded has its downsides I guess. But I wanted to see if I could get anyone's view/views about the whole thing.

People can change, but only if they themselves truly want to make a change. As far as changing for someone, I don't think people ever should change who they are to please someone else. They should only change to please themselves.

Makes sense, especially since changing someone against their will is nothing short of "brain-washing." Changing for someone else, well, I used to be desperate for someone so I would constantly change. I guess if you're not thinking clearly in such a state you might end up changing for the worst. Luckily that didn't happen to me though. Just using myself as an example. :P

people have the power to change themselves in any way, for better or worse. Nobody has the power to change another person. We are all always in a constant state of change.... *trails off into endless hippie babbling*

Everyone can change, some prisoner for example, once they have been out of jail and can run yet another free life, they will regret the thing they did in the pass, so...

But not everyone.

Well, people change over time as they grow. as The Rev put it "every 2 years of your life you're a little bit different, no matter who you are"
