I'd give out the .PSD file, but it exceeds the limit for attachments both in .PSD and .ZIP file forms. I'm currently unaware of where Windows Vista stores desktop screenshots. If anyone will enlighten me, I'll give a screenshot.

This is nothing special. It's mainly practice fitting text in a proper font and position more than anything. I personally suck at text and can not find desireable fonts until I absolutely need them for something, which is in the ending phase of creating something. The font you see here is SNIPER downloaded from http://www.dafont.com, where I assume everyone gets their fonts. The background is just a plain, dark red bucket fill. I added Tager's crest over it to avoid a bland backdrop. It's larger than depicted here, but I cropped the excess of the image. Tager was rendered by someone other than me. I got the image from the Blazblue Wiki for Tager's character profile.
I trimmed the blue outline he first had and added a red one, with a duo of white outlines in layers above and below to get a dull glow from it. Text was done three times. First in white, then in black, and finally in red. I duplicated the third text layer, flipped it upside down, and deleted it after performing an alpha selection. I then erased the red layer using the selection, to get the broken color transitions between red and black. I just lazily used a Blur filter on the white layer so that the red/black portion was visible.
Overall, it's just a test to see if I'm still capable of basics.
