PS3 HDD question

is it true you can upgrade the hard drive of the ps3? like if I got the 80gb & want to upgrade to 500gb, is it even possible? & if you can do it, will it void the warranty?

Yes and No. People do it all the time. I'm sure not sure if they improved the screws but lots of old screws were made of bubble gum and stripped easily so be careful
