Over the past few months, we've had quite a few people request to have their username changed. Up until now, it was free. Don't worry I won't be charging you money, but this is just another way to put the GFP to use. And this will work similarly to how the usertitle change works.

We'll sort out the cost first and then tell you about what to do to request the change.

For a username change, the base fee is 300GFP. It may sound like a lot but GFP isn't very hard to get and if you're good in the arcade or casino, you can make that GFP in no time.

You can only change your Username once every 90 days, that's 3 months. It will cost you 300GFP. If you want to change it before your 90 days is up, I won't stop you from making the request but add 200GFP on top of that as a fee for a total of 500GFP.

So how do you request a change? I'll tell you what you don't do, you don't PM me. Up until now, that's how I handled it but not anymore.

Open a thread in this board (The contest and point sales board (Click here to go there now (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=45)) and request it. Title the thread to what you want your old username to be changed to.

For example, this is what a good thread title should look like: "Change Username Linux to Windows"

This way, other gamers (your friends) will have better knowledge of what you changed your username to without sending them on a chase to look through threads to find where you went. To change your username again in the future just open another thread the same way.

This method isn't absolutely mandatory, you can title it any way you like but this is the best way to keep track of everything and let others know exactly what happened to you without them having to read through entire threads looking for the answers.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask in this thread or open your own thread in the Questions/Suggestions board (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30). Please DO NOT request a username change in this thread, open your own.
