That's a tough one. On one hand, Goldeneye 007 is a lot of fun. Love that game. On the other hand, 007: The World is Not Enough has about the most fun multiplayer mode i've ever played in my life. I'm not too much a fan of modern shooters. I mean, I guess i could go with perfect dark since it's basically goldeneye without james bond and has a very similar multiplayer to TWINO, but...nah.

There is a free online fps called AvA online.
It's have a very amazing graphic cause it's using Unreal Engine 3.

Beside, me also like COD modern warfare 2 and currently is Sniper Warrior Ghost. XD

Goldeneye 007 gave me my first love of shooters, so I gotta mention it. Also Doom.

My favourite CURRENT shooter would have to be a tie between COD MW2 and Killzone 2.

It may sound a little fan boyish . But mine is still MW2 the campaign mode has yet to be beat by any game I have ever played . I to be honest will not be looking out to much for black ops.

Oh man I hate games like that lol. I'm not too good at shooters, so i hate when i'm playing one and the really good people keep preying on me. There's no fun in it so I always leave. And then people get mad when people "rage quit" but like...why stay in a game that ur not doing good in and not having fun playing?

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was the first online game I've ever played, I have SO many memories. *tear*
Other great shooters are the classic Medal of Honor games, for PSone and PS2.
Borderlands is also a really fun game, it has very high replay value. :D
Battlefield is my favorite in terms of realism, but it's still not good enough.
I'm waiting for the perfect shooter, graphics-wise and realism-wise.

Um... didn't get any of what you just said about GTA... As far as I know:

GTA 1 - Vice City
GTA 2 - San Adreas
GTA 3 - GTA 3
GTA 4 - GTA IV
GTA 5 - GTA V (Not out yet)

At least that's how I think it is, I alway saw it this way xD

im pretty sure GTA 3 is GTA 1, and so true what someone said about borderlands, its the perfect example of a game with no story (well it has a story but its not very good)

it was something like GTA 1 and GTA 2 were not made by rockstar or that specific part of rockstar, the ones on the ps2 were made by them tho. they made GTA 3, vice city, san andreas, but named the next one 4 because it was the 4th one they made without counting the ones on the PS1. In conclusion GTA 3 was the first game they made so its number 1. Something like that anyway.

I am more of an RPG guy then a shooter gamer person. I did really find the TimeSplitters games and older GoldenEye games to be pretty fund shooters though. :)

Halo on occasion as long as radar is off. Otherwise people nub ya'.

Oh and CS2D is pretty fun on occasion but I suppose for this thread most people wouldn't identify that as a shooter. I liked the construction options in it.

I still love CoD4 but I really don't play it much, especially now that the best maps are on MW2 (I'm still waiting for Bog!). I also really love BF:BC and I want to try MoH sooo bad but the Dice engine gives me motion sickness so after about 30 mins of playing I get a nasty headache and have to stop.

COD 4..... Great game..... Battlefield 2 if you can count that as a shooter.... i would concider that more of a strategy game than i would a shooter... but thats probably because i was the clans starting helo pilot.... :)

Mine would be MW2, because the game is just.. AWESOME. the campaign is perfect, the gameplay is perfect, the multiplayer is perfect, Everything is perfect for Modern Warfare 2.

But since i played Red Dead Redemption on my Friends house, i might include it, I like Western games. especiallt RDR.

I like playing games with good Story. Only Multiplayer are nice, but only with friends or someone in Skype (Ventrillo or anything else) in voicechat.

So my favorite Shooter is Metroid Prime 3. The only game that is so epic like this would be Half-Life 2 for me.

Half life 2 is bad it has good physics but it lacks in story and it didnt pay attention to details, i dont see what is so "good" about it, it is complete bullcrap, so go play a real game like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
