I would ask this not be moved to the lounge as in I promise to not spam on here with lots of post of useless stuff . However you have a forum to run and I will understand if you want to move it .
Now before I start off i think it may be helpful for you to read this thread first if you have not already .
Read This please (http://www.gamers-forum.com/showthread.php?p=242104#post242104)
Now I will try to do this orderly.

I moved it here simply because you decided to open 3 threads pretty much about the same thing. Think about your fellow GF'er .. consolidation is teh win.

It's not bad .. but I personally think you could get a lot out of practising perspective and perhaps focusing on the human form a little. To me that will make the drawings a little more striking by being in perspective, and once you've got that down you can then develop your own style to take it to another level. Sketching doesn't necessarily have to produce a finished piece - sometimes it can be a great way of honing a skill .. the same can be said for any creative art.
That's my two penny's worth anyways ..

I was going to say things, but then jango had said them all already and with a clearer language than I would have crafted myself... so...
what he said :p
there's four pennies worth to that idea, anyway ;)

This is a sketch f angel , She is still wearing the same hoodie . I like my hair idea but it seems to make her come off as a guy any tips on stronger showing the relationship between the gender ?

More often than not, woman (well...in manga) have slender faces with a delicately curved chin, slightly elongated faces and thinner necks. Whereas a dude has a thick neck, slighlty squatter face and kinda wider. Also, the style which the eye is drawn in indicates how feminine a character is. Rounder (for the more innocent females), longer lashes, thicker lines, more defination and the actually eyeball is quite big inside the scoket. Guys generally have elongated, thin eyes (for the sensitive, sly or cunning type of guy) or kinda curved. The eyeball to socket ratio is less than that of your typical female.
The lips also play apart - how full and defined they are. And the posture has a fair whack of input.
then again, a lot of mangas like to manipulate woman into looking like men and women into looking glike men... But just try out random stuff and see what works. Maybe try changing an element at a time. See what that does to the charcters appearance and then combine stuff.

I am slowly starting to stray away from manga / Anime Styled drawings . I think your help still stands . It does make sense what your saying . Just wanted to point out that I am trying to stop drawing Anime . Also the older drawings at the top were suppose to be anime . But as they get to the bottom ones . I am trying to develop my own style . I have done a couple more nice sketches I will put up soon .
