I was curious what everyone's take is on the best TV for gaming.
I personally bought the Samsung - 55" Class / 1080p / 120Hz / LCD HDTV / Model: LN55C630K1F (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+55%22+Class+/+1080p+/+120Hz+/+LCD+HDTV/9784144.p?id=1218173775639&skuId=9784144) strictly because I read raving reviews about the "Game Mode":
Game Mode - Enhances dark areas, sharpens the picture, speeds up image processing response and enhances the audio for your games.
I have to say it was a huge improvement from it being off vs being on.
Now, my other question is what do you think of LED vs LCD vs Plasma?
Here are my thoughts and also what I read:
Plasma - Gets really hot, fast refresh rate, decent for gaming, great for the price.
LCD - Stays cool, good for gaming if over the 120 Hz+ threshold, prices are fair to the technology, Samsung game mode makes it well worth it
LED - Too bright, corners pixels look funny when gaming because of LED technology, very expensive, good for gaming if over the 120 Hz+ threshold.
So, what are your thoughts, and what do you currently use?
