That's a good list, It's hard for me to choose between ME2 and Dragon age 2 though..

It's interesting to see what Games are on the List, I'm somewhat Surprised Gow 3, Heavy Rain, Bayonetta and Mario Galaxy 2 didn't make it, at least one of them anyway.

What were some Close follow-ups?

There were a fair few close follow-ups really. Black Ops was fairly close, and a couple of console titles, but generally the nominations from console gamers were VERY varied.

I have to admit that I was surprised at the final 10 in some ways .. but then again that's democracy for you hehe :p

Black Ops seems like Modern Warfare 1.

I would vote for Call of Duty Black Ops, because this game is really awesome and it's nice and tough especially when you are playing on the hardest level in the game.

The nomination period was the 1st of November 2009 to the 31st of November 2010 .. simply because I thought I would be away to do it from Dec to Dec. The video in the first post said all this tbh. Derp indeed :D

Tbh this was a trial run of a couple of things I'm thinking of doing during the year, and mostly a test of sorts. Next year I'll be making it a bit more straight forward for one thing, and use YouTube a bit more I think. Still .. as a first go it seemed to go fairly well hehe.

Yeah .. I was surprised how few Civ5 got too .. OK not the best game in the world but it's quite popular among those who play it. I kind've expected Red Dead to be almost neck-and-neck with DAO too ..

I'm really surprised that these two weren't much higher :o and that Dragon Age took it with such a landslide (esp considering how old it is compared to many of the other games here)
