So our final for Goverment was a 5 page essay. No problem. My teacher said it make our grade oir break it. I asked "Could it go from a C to an F?" he replied "oh ya!". Then i asked "what about a B- to an A?". he told me yeap.
I got 95 points out of 100. The 3rd highest in the class. Mutha ****** my grade from 80% to...............82.9%:mad1: wtf?!? i was upset. It boosted one of my friends from an F to an C. I'm happy for since he got tthe highest score with 98. but come on 2% change?

Does your teacher know proper math? That 2.9% change doesn't sound like a score that would either make you or break you.

Idk....some people got a lower score and went up....but not me.

you should try to speak to your teacher and see what's going on because if you deserve a higher grade, you should fight for it.

I did argue...he said " idk, tough luck" cause i have test scores already and it didn't affect it. I'm seeing red.

talk to a counselor, dean, principal, etc.

"tough luck" by any teacher is a bad sign imo - it's their job to teach you.

Only 3 of us got over 90%. i just don't uderstand even if the computer is doing the math he had to had screwed up'd something for a 2% change

well doesn't getting a higher grade affect you more if you do REALLY well on a highly-weighted test when you have a terrible grade, but is less of a change when you do well and have already been doing somewhat well? o.o

someone told me that once but o.o If you're doing well enough already, then you can't really change your grade drastically higher? But maybe that's wrong...
