Welcome to this weeks SOTW.
In absence of Aniki, I have hosted this week SOTW.
So with the magic of christmas around the corner.. I thought what better
theme then the fantasy of Fairy Tales.

I was thinking more little red riding hood, the gingerbread man, hansel and gretal.
But after research the little mermaid is actually a fairytale written by Hans Christian Andersen back in 1836.

I've now included a list of fairytales in the 1st post, which should help you guys out.

yeah took me a while to find mine..
i didnt like any of the mermaids out there...

Well my first effort is finished .. and it sucks .. and when I say 'sucks' I mean 'SUCKS' .. I will do one for this but I need to find some better inspiration (or at least try to make one when I'm not playing something) .. I seem to be getting worse rather than better these days :S

Well, I did look through the list to see if there was a fairy tale about a black lamb which took place at night, just so I could submit a black rectangle for sotw. Yes, it's got that desperate ....

Technically, yeah. Along with the "not ending happy" thing. If you can count American McGee's stuff.. Alice in Wonderland ends pretty screwed up :laugh1:
