Hello everyone, I am totally new to the gaming world so if my questions are ridiculous please forgive me. I recently purchased a PS3 and I was given GT 5 for Christmas.

I now want to get myself a sweet chair/steering wheel/throttle petal assembly and need some recommendations on what to buy.

My PS3 box is located in a different room from the tv so I would prefer something that is wireless. I dont mind power cords, but I dont want something that needs to use a USB cable.

Is there anything out there that will work for me?

Post up some of the setups that you have.

Welcome YellowFever. I'm sure if someone knows they will post some suggestions. In the mean-time make sure you read our forum rules, and perhaps post an introduction post in the 'New Members' section.

Price range, probably like to stay less than $1000 for everything.

Hamada's definitely your best bet for advice on Racing games or racing peripherals ;) glad he found his way to this thread already.

I hope his post was helpful to you, can't say that anybody's going to be able to rattle any better advice off the top of their head than him!

Oh, and welcome to the forum :) I hope you find it to be more fun than you expected and stay for a while!

Thanks for the welcome and the confidence in Hamada. His post has helped for sure. I am kinda thinking of a package like this one possibly:

http://playseat.com/shop/ca/playseatslogitech-g27/playseat-white-logitech-g27.html

Except they all say out of stock, so I will try and find someone who can sell these. Is there any supporting vendors on this site that sell this type of stuff?

I have read some reviews on the G27 and it appears like it doesnt work properly with GT5, has anyone else encountered this?
